LEAP Students To Live In Pollock And South Halls Over The Summer

Incoming first-year students in the Learning Edge Academic Program, better known as LEAP, will live in Pollock and South Halls over the summer. This is a change from the previous two summers when LEAP students lived in East Halls.

Food services will be offered in either Pollock or Redifer Dining Commons. The HUB will also be open and offering food during the summer session.

Most LEAP students live on campus while participating in the program. They will live close to members of their LEAP Pride in their respective dorms. Those already living in Centre County are allowed to commute.

Registration for LEAP opens at 6 p.m. on March 13 and will close on May 5. Students who have been accepted for the fall 2023 semester but want to participate in LEAP should contact Penn State Admissions to change their starting term. The program will run from June 28 to August 11.

Owen Abbey

Owen Abbey was a Secondary Education major before he graduated from the wonderful institution known as Penn State. When he was not writing for the blog, he enjoyed rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, supporting Penn State basketball and softball, dreaming of all of the ways he would win the TV show "Survivor," and yes mom, actually doing school work. All of this work prepared him to teach his own class of students, which was always his true passion.
