Four-Star Linebacker Kari Jackson Commits To Penn State Football

LBU picks up more reinforcements.

Four-star linebacker Kari Jackson announced his verbal commitment to Penn State’s Class of 2024 via his Twitter account Tuesday morning. Jackson is the third player to commit to the Nittany Lions in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

“Blessed and thankful to announced my commitment as a student-athlete to Penn State University,” Jackson wrote.

The 6’2″, 215-pound linebacker selected Penn State over conference rivals Wisconsin and Maryland, among others.

Hailing from West Bloomfield, Michigan, Jackson is the ninth-ranked player in the state and the nation’s 30th overall linebacker, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Jackson is the second linebacker to commit to the Class of 2024, joining four-star linebacker Anthony Speca, who committed in January.

With Jackson’s decision, Penn State leapt nine spots and is now ranked No. 21 in the country, according to 247Sports’ team rankings. In the early class rankings, the Nittany Lions still trail Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan State, respectively.
