SPA To Host Ross Lynch For March 28 Lecture

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host actor and musician Ross Lynch for a free lecture at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, in the HUB’s Alumni Hall. The event will begin with a moderated conversation before opening the session up for an audience Q&A.

Lynch is best known for his acting work in Disney Channel content such as the television series “Austin and Ally” and the original movie franchise “Teen Beach Movie.” Later in his career, Lynch began forays into alternative genres, including assuming the role of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the film “My Friend Dahmer.”

As the lead singer of recording group “The Driver Era,” Lynch’s music career has taken off in recent years. With The Driver Era, Lynch performs alongside his brother Rocky, and he recently finished up a sold-out tour.

Tickets will be available through OrgCentral at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 24.

Lynch’s lecture will be free for all Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee.
