Centre County Grange Fairgrounds To Host ‘Happy Valley Rodeo’ September 15 & 16

An area often used for tailgating, concerts, and fairs is set to host a brand-new event.

The first annual “Happy Valley Rodeo” is coming to the Centre County Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall on September 15 and 16.

The rodeo will include bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, and team roping.

Happy Valley Rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and the American Professional Rodeo Association. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and the rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m.

Presale tickets are available now until September 8. Single-night general admission tickets are on sale for $15, and tickets for children ages 6 to 12 are $10. Children age 5 and under get in for free. For extra rodeo fun, a two-night pass can be purchased for $25.

Additionally, there’s rodeo merchandise for sale, too. If you preorder a t-shirt with your ticket, it’s $10, and if you buy a shirt at the event, it’s $15.

To purchase tickets and for more information about the rodeo, visit the Happy Valley Rodeo website or the rodeo’s Facebook page.
