Former Penn State Men’s Soccer Star Pierre Reedy Signs With Dundee FC

Pierre Reedy is going international, folks.

The former Penn State men’s soccer player signed with Dundee FC, the club announced on Saturday. Reedy’s contract will extend until the end of the season.

Dundee is a club seeking promotion to the Scottish Premiership. With five matches left in the 2023 season, Dundee sits atop the Scottish Championship table, holding the lone spot reserved for automatic promotion.

Dundee is the second professional club that Reedy has signed with; he joined the Real Monarchs in 2022 after going undrafted in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. Reedy played 18 matches in MLS NEXT Pro and recorded one assist.

In his time with Penn State, Reedy was one of the team’s leaders. He played in 69 games and served as a team captain from 2019 to 2021. In his six seasons with the team, he recorded nine goals and 12 assists. Reedy was also named to All-American and All-Big Ten rosters in the last two seasons he spent in Happy Valley.

Reedy made his debut for Dundee on Saturday, April 8, coming off the bench in the 74th minute in a 0-0 draw against Arbroath FC.
