Penn State Homecoming Unveils 2023 Logo

Penn State Homecoming revealed its 2023 logo during halftime of the Blue-White Game. This year’s design features a Nittany Lion figure opening its suit with the words “Illuminate the Lion Within” emblazoned on the chest.

The goal of this year’s theme was to connect Penn Staters, past and present, the committee said. The design of the logo was made to reflect that message.

“The theme is ‘Illuminate the Lion Within,’ which reminds everyone, whether they are here with us today or from far away, we all have a connection to one symbol that makes our love for Penn State grow,” the committee said.

This year’s logo was designed by Mia Cornali, whose image was selected by the committee among a number of submissions from the Penn State Design Association.

Homecoming 2023 will take place from Sunday, October 8, through Saturday, October 14, which is the week of Penn State football’s matchup against UMass.
