[Photo Story] Penn State Football Returns To Beaver Stadium For 2023 Blue-White Game

Penn State football returned to Beaver Stadium for the annual Blue-White Game on Saturday, April 15, and left fans excited for the upcoming fall season. The two teams, Blue and White, were separated in a fashion that promoted a competitive environment to answer questions about the team’s potential next season.

To kick off the day, fans gathered in the rain to welcome the team back into Beaver Stadium.

Rain or shine, The Nittany Lion was there to support the team.

After the warm fan welcome, it was time for players to warm up. They could be seen stretching and getting their blood flowing before the big scrimmage.

It was time for the Nittany Lion to fire up the crowd.

Most players ran back into the locker room, except for Golden Israel-Achumba, who sang the national anthem and stunned fans throughout the stadium.

After Israel-Achumba’s performance, It was finally time for kickoff. The teams went to opposite sidelines and prepared for the first half.

The half concluded with the Blue Team leading, and there were promising performances by Drew Allar and Omari Evans. Fans enjoyed watching White Team players Malik McClain and Liam Clifford battle for position on the wide receiver depth chart.

The Blue-White Game concluded with the Blue Team coming out on top and both squads joining together to sing the Alma Mater and interact with fans.
