Penn State Men’s Lacrosse’s Jack Traynor Named Big Ten Offensive Player Of The Week
Penn State men’s lacrosse captain Jack Traynor was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday following his performance against Michigan Sunday night.
Traynor had a career-high six goals as he led the Nittany Lions to an 11-9 comeback win over then-No. 15 Michigan. Five of his goals came in the second half, as he helped erase a 6-4 halftime deficit.
Traynor currently leads the team in goals with 26, which is the second-best mark in the Big Ten. He ranks second on the team with 39 points and leads in man-up goals with six.
Penn State will close out its regular season with a game against Rutgers at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 21, at Panzer Stadium.
