Your Movin’ On 2023 Weather Forecast

Well, folks, you’ve made it to the end of the semester, and with that comes the annual Movin’ On music festival.

Movin’ On takes place on the last day of classes of the spring semester in the IM Fields. This year, it will happen on Friday, April 28, with headliners J.I.D, Coin, and Neon Trees. Despite the poor weather headed toward State College, the festival will go on rain or shine.

The forecast on Friday is gloomy with a high of 53° and a 94% chance of rain, according to AccuWeather. The rain could accumulate to almost half an inch with wind gusts reaching up to 22 mph.

There’s even a 19% chance of thunderstorms throughout the day.

Unfortunately, Movin’ On doesn’t allow umbrellas, so be sure to pack your poncho, wear your rainboots, and be ready for muddy conditions.

If you’re planning to stay out of the rain, you can listen to our Movin’ On 2023 playlist, and if you’re braving the storm, check out to our guide for everything you need to know about the festival.
