Seven Penn State Lacrosse Stars Named USILA, IWLCA All-Americans

Penn State lacrosse’s Jack Fracyon, Matt Traynor, TJ Malone, and Ellie Hollin were named to USILA and IWLCA All-American teams Thursday, while Jack Posey, Grant Haus, and Kevin Winkoff earned honorable mentions from the USILA.

Fracyon earned second-team placement following the Nittany Lions’ victory against Army and a stellar performance from the net. Among his many accolades, Fracyon was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine second-team All-American, Inside Lacrosse second-team All-American, Big Ten Specialist of the Year, and All-Big Ten first-team honoree. The sophomore also led the Big Ten in goals-against average, save percentage, and saves per game.

Traynor earned a third-team selection, sitting third on the team in points. He also earned career highs in ground balls and caused turnovers.

Malone was named to the third team and recorded a career-high 65 points with 33 goals and 32 assists for the season. Malone was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American, Inside Lacrosse All-American, Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, and a All-Big Ten First Team selection.

Jack Posey, Grant Haus, and Kevin Winkoff all secured honorable mentions from USILA.

Ellie Hollin secured a third-team All-American selection from IWLCA. Hollin had a strong sophomore year and finished with 31 ground balls, 27 caused turnovers, and 17 draw controls.

She also picked up an IWLCA second-team all-region mention, All-Big Ten First Team honors, and a USA Lacrosse All-American honorable mention this season.
