Penn State Women’s Soccer Holds No. 6 Ranking In United Soccer Coaches Poll

Penn State women’s soccer was ranked No. 6 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll released Tuesday. The Nittany Lions stay at the No. 6 spot after earning the same rankings a week prior.

In the past week, the Nittany Lions have secured two wins to improve their record to 5-0-1. After tying No. 3 North Carolina to start the season, Penn State has won every game since. Most recently, the team defeated UCF 1-0 and Monmouth 4-1.

The Nittany Lions were also ranked No. 4 in the latest TopDrawerSoccer poll released Monday. Like the United Soccer Coaches poll, Penn State didn’t move in the poll and currently sits behind UCLA, Stanford, and BYU.

Penn State returns to action at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 7 with a bout against Princeton at Jeffery Field.
