Class Of 2025 Four-Star Running Back Tiqwai Hayes Commits To Penn State Football

RBU.

Class of 2025 four-star running back Tiqwai Hayes committed to Penn State football, he announced on an Instagram livestream Monday. Hayes is the third player and second running back in the Nittany Lions’ Class of 2025, though the program recently lost the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Jaelyne Matthews.

Hailing from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Hayes is ranked as the No. 33 running back in the country and the 11th-best player in his home state, per the 247Sports Composite ratings. Hayes also has experience playing safety and wide receiver and joins a Penn State group ranked No. 17 in the country before his arrival.

Hayes stands at 5’10” and 185 pounds and continues a trend of strong recruiting at the running back position for Penn State. Current star running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen hail from the recruiting Class of 2022, and the Nittany Lions are set to welcome top recruits Quinton Martin and Corey Smith into the Class of 2024. Four-star running back KiAndrea Barker has also committed to Penn State’s Class of 2025.
