Former Penn State Wide Receiver KJ Hamler Signed To Indianapolis Colts Practice Squad
KJ Hamler is back in the NFL.
Hamler signed a contract to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad, the Colts announced Saturday. The Colts will be Hamler’s second NFL destination after he played for three seasons with the Denver Broncos.

Hamler, who played at Penn State for three years, was drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He tore his ACL in 2021 and missed the remainder of the NFL season. Hamler left the Broncos after 2022 after playing in 23 games and recorded 40 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns.
At Penn State, Hamler played in 26 games, making 98 catches for 1658 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also donned the Nittany Lions’ No. 1 jersey, which he continued to wear during his time with Denver.
