Penn State-Ohio State Scheduled For Noon Kickoff

Penn State football’s matchup against Ohio State on Saturday, October 21 will kick off at noon in Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Penn State Athletics announced Monday. Additionally, FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff will air from Columbus ahead of the game.

Ohio State will “Scarlet the Shoe” for its matchup against the Nittany Lions, too.

Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will handle respective play-by-play and color commentary duties. The duo was also on the call for Penn State’s 30-13 victory over Illinois earlier this season.

Last season’s battle at Beaver Stadium resulted in a 44-31 come-from-behind Ohio State victory. The Nittany Lions trail 23-14 in the all-time series, and haven’t defeated the Buckeyes since 2016. Penn State also hasn’t defeated Ohio State on the road since 2011.

James Franklin’s team most recently defeated Northwestern 41-13 in Evanston, while Ryan Day’s squad edged Maryland 37-17.
