Your Official Penn State-UMass Drinking Game

After an away game and a bye week, the Nittany Lions are finally back in Beaver Stadium this Saturday.

The UMass Minutemen will travel to Happy Valley to face off against Penn State for the second time in program history. To top it off, it’s the annual Homecoming game, giving alumni and every Penn Stater the chance to reminisce and, of course, get hammered.

Although the weather this weekend looks rather shitty, the forecast calls for lots of drinking, loads of nostalgia, and another dub from the boys in blue and white. With alumni and tailgates returning to Happy Valley, let’s get into this week’s official drinking game.

  • For starters, crack open a brew and take a sip. WE’RE BACK IN BEAVER, BABY!
  • If you missed tailgating as much as we did, take a swig.
  • In honor of Homecoming, find a random alumni and take a shot with them.
  • Take a shot if you’re tailgating or watching the game with your fam. #Homecoming
  • Take a sip if you don’t know what a “minute man” is. Don’t worry, we don’t either.
  • Take a shot every time you hear someone say “it’s just UMass.” You’ll be stumbling by the end of the day.
  • Take a shot if a famous Penn State alumni makes an appearance in celebration of Homecoming.
  • Chug for a few seconds for every rushing touchdown.
  • Take a sip every time someone complains about the weather. It’s just rain, folks.
  • Take a shot if Drew Allar chucks the football downfield for a 50+ yard completion. James Franklin can be mean sometimes.
  • For every successful completion by Drew Allar, take a sip.
  • Take a sip if Amin Vanover tallies over 1.5 sacks and three tackles. He’s back in business, folks.
  • Take a swig for a big Riley Thompson boot. That’s our Aussie punter.
  • Pour yourself a little mixed drink if Penn State is up at the half and give your buddy a fist bump while you’re at it.
  • Have a shot if Penn State covers the spread.
  • Take a nice, looonnnggg sip if Penn State wins. 6-0, BABY!!!
