Brainstorming Penn State-Themed Jack-O’-Lanterns

Halloween is almost here, folks.

If you’re still deciding what to carve into your pumpkins this year, you’re in luck. To get ready for the Halloween holiday, we brainstormed some Penn State-themed jack-o’-lantern designs.

Penn State Block S

This design idea is relatively simple, so it’ll be good for pumpkin carving beginners. Personally, I’ve always thought that the Block S logo was underrated and underused.

Four Diamonds Logo

The Four Diamonds logo allows you to spread the “FTK” message, even in spooky season.

Old Main

What better way to celebrate a spooky Halloween night than a tribute to Penn State’s most iconic building?

Pennsylvania

Penn State wouldn’t be Penn State without the great state of Pennsylvania. Two straight lines in the bottom left make for an easy start before getting into some intricacies in Eastern Pennsylvania. I’d use a stencil for this one.

Beaver Stadium

This design is for the more advanced carvers. You can’t cut all the way through the pumpkin, so you’ll need to do as the pros do and carve just enough to let the light shine through.

Onward State Logo

We’re a little bit biased, but we think that Onward State’s logo would make for a great jack-o’-lantern. Why wouldn’t you want to pay tribute to Penn State’s premier blog?

1-0

James Franklin’s motto for the football team is more important now than ever. Let’s go 1-0 this Halloween, folks.
