[Photo Story] Ghosts On Campus

If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call?

Onward State, it turns out.

As Halloween draws closer each day, so does the spookiness across campus. It’s been a long-standing rumor that around Halloween, many locations across campus become haunted by ghosts. To further investigate these reports we sent some of our brave photographers out to do a little ghost-busting.

Our first stop was the Forum Building, where we received reports that the ghosts were teaching a weekend class on the afterlife.

Just like normal human classes in the Forum, we caught one ghost dozing off during the lecture.

Let’s just say the ghost’s lecture left us frightened.

On our way to our next location of investigation, we discovered more ghosts outside the library.

Rumor has it these ghosts were cursed to live in the library for the rest of eternity.

Against our better judgment, our next report took us to the base level of the Paterno stacks.

There we found the ghosts catching up on the required reading they’d missed since they entered the afterlife.

Surprisingly, the ghosts’ presence in the stacks only made it marginally creepier.

After leaving the library, we headed over to the HUB to investigate reports of ghosts haunting the legendary chairs.

Our experts conclude these ghosts had suffered from unknown diseases, bacteria, and ectoplasm trapped in the fabric chairs.

After dispersing these ghosts we ventured off to our final destination, Old Main.

We suspect these were students who couldn’t resist posting a picture of Old Main on their Instagram story during a storm, which caused their unfortunate end.

All this paranormal activity taught us one thing, we ain’t ‘fraid of no ghost.
