[Photo Story] Arboretum Hosts 2024 Pumpkin Festival

This past weekend, the Arboretum at Penn State was transformed into a fall wonderland for the 2024 Pumpkin Festival. From intricately carved pumpkins to the cozy glow of autumn lights, the event celebrated everything we love about fall. Live music, food trucks, pumpkin contests, and more were all features of the weekend celebration.

Look through our photographer’s lenses and experience the vibrant colors, festive spirit, and family fun that made this year’s festival one for the books.

The Arboretum proudly displayed carved pumpkin all day Saturday for guests to vote on their favorites.

Food trucks were on site to provide guests with various flavors of fall.

It wasn’t all about pumpkins at this year’s festival, as live music and local vendors shared their work with the community.

Live carving demonstrations by Pittsburgh Pumpkin Guy brought the whole family into the crowd as the festivities drew to a close.

Whether you came for the pumpkins or just to enjoy a walk through the gardens, the Arboretum provided a perfect backdrop for the weekend’s festivities. We hope this glimpse through our lens brought some of that fall magic to life, and we can’t wait to see what next year’s festival holds!
