Gameday Coverage: No. 11 Penn State vs. Michigan State

One more time, everyone.

No. 11 Penn State football will close out the regular season against Michigan State with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The Nittany Lions and Spartans both won their most recent matchups.

Whether you’re making the trek to the Motor City or watching from home, here’s all you need to know about keeping up with the Nittany Lions’ final matchup of the season.

Television

Just like it started this season, Penn State will end it on NBC for the second time this season. Noah Eagle will be on play-by-play and joining him in the booth on color commentary is former Penn State quarterback Todd Blackledge. Meanwhile, Kathryn Tappen will provide updates from the sidelines.

Radio

Penn State Sports Network — Steve Jones, Jack Ham, and Brian Tripp
Local: 99.5 & 103.7 FM/1450 AM, Sirius/XM/Internet: 204/98/967

Weather

Ford Field is an indoor stadium, so the weather won’t have much of an implication on the game. Outside, though, it’ll be a cold day in Detroit with a high of 37 degrees and a low of 23 degrees, according to AccuWeather. There’s a 2% chance of precipitation and wind speeds will be up to nine miles per hour.

Last Meeting

Penn State won 35-16 in Happy Valley last year. Both teams are 18-18-1 in the all-time series.

Injuries/Suspensions

James Franklin indicated that Drew Allar, who left last week’s game with an injury, is likely to play. Additionally, he wasn’t sure if Trey Wallace would return this week after missing games against Maryland, Michigan, and Rutgers.

Betting Lines

Penn State is currently a 22.5-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 42.5 points.
