Penn State Women’s Hockey Ranked No. 15 in USCHO Poll

Penn State women’s hockey was ranked No. 15 in the USCHO poll, the outlet announced Monday. The Nittany Lions are the only CHA team in the latest rankings.

Penn State is currently 10-7-1 on the season and coming off a series sweep of Robert Morris. The Nittany Lions are riding a five-game winning streak back into the rankings. Freshman Stella Retrum was also named Rookie of the Month for November, averaging 1.83 points per game across the last month.

The Nittany Lions haven’t been ranked in the USCHO since October 23, when they were ranked No. 15. However, Penn State received votes in each of the last five polls.

Penn State is back on the ice this Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9, when it takes on No. 13 Yale at Pegula Ice Arena.
