Your State Patty’s 2026 Weather Report

The most anticipated weekend of the spring semester is upon us, folks.

State Patty’s weekend is here, the green attire is out of the closet, and the drinks are about to be flowing. Mother Nature has blessed State College with a few days of surprisingly great weather to get outside and have some fun, but before you hit the town, check out AccuWeather’s full weekend weather report.

Friday

A late February warm front is roaring into the State College area this weekend, with a high of 53° to start the State Patty’s festivities. The forecast calls for limited cloud cover, with sun most of the day and little to no wind. There is also no precipitation expected on Friday.

During the evening, temperatures will drop as low as 33°, but the forecast remains clear with no rain and limited cloud cover expected.

Saturday

The main party day for Penn Staters will bring perfect weather for folks hitting the town. The high on Saturday will be 56° with only an 11% chance of precipitation during the day. A few more clouds will roll into Central Pennsylvania than on Friday, but the sun is still supposed to peak through.

Temperatures will drop drastically after the sun sets, with a nighttime low of 29° and wind gusts up to 25 mph. There is a chance of a few snowflakes hitting the ground on Saturday night as well. AccuWeather is predicting a 64% chance of precipitation and 0.3 inches of snow to fall.

Sunday

The cold temperatures will remain into the last day of State Patty’s weekend, with a high of 38° on Sunday. There isn’t any precipitation in the forecast, but expect it to be a bit windier outside with gusts up to 21 mph. A thick cloud cover will remain over State College in the morning, with the sun coming out during the afternoon.
