No. 10 Penn State Football Opens As 4.5-Point Favorite Against No. 11 Ole Miss In Peach Bowl

Penn State is headed back to a New Year’s Six bowl, folks.

After finishing another season at 10-2 and landing at No. 10 in the final College Football Playoff rankings, the Nittany Lions were selected to face Ole Miss in this year’s Peach Bowl. If the blue and white can pull off a win, it would not only make back-to-back New Year’s Six bowl wins, but it would make Penn State the first team in college football history to win all six New Year’s Six bowl games.

In its last time out, Penn State blanked Michigan State 42-0 to win the Land-Grant Trophy. While the shutout gave the Nittany Lions an easy win against the spread, they couldn’t hit the over after no points were added to the total by the Spartans. This makes the Nittany Lions 9-3 against the spread for the regular season and 6-6 playing toward the over-under.

In its upcoming bowl game, FanDuel has the current line set at 4.5 points in favor of Penn State with an over-under set at 48.5 points.

During the regular season, Ole Miss was 6-4-2 against the spread and 5-7 against the over-under.

The Nittany Lions and Rebels have never played each other in their respective rich histories. The Peach Bowl will kick off at noon on Saturday, December 30, in Atlanta, Georgia, and broadcast on ESPN.
