Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2024 Schedule

Penn State men’s lacrosse announced its 2024 season schedule on Wednesday. Last year’s Big Ten regular season champion will kick off its season in early February.

The Nittany Lions will face Colgate for the first time since 2007 in their season opener at Panzer Stadium on Saturday, February 3. The following weekend, the Nittany Lions will return to Panzer for another home game against Villanova on February 10.

For the next two weeks, head coach Jeff Tambroni’s squad will hit the road for their matchups against Stony Brook on February 17 and Navy on February 24. The Nittany Lions will return to Panzer in March for two more home games against Ivy League schools Yale on March 2 and Cornell on March 9 before facing their final out-of-conference opponent in Marquette on March 16 in Springfield, Pennsylvania.

Penn State will kick off Big Ten play a week later on the road against Ohio State on March 23. The Nittany Lions will then head back home to take on Maryland on March 30. After the Nittany Lions travel to Johns Hopkins on April 6, they will return home a week later for a noteworthy Big Ten matchup against Michigan. After its Big Ten Championship win, Michigan will be a demanding opponent for Penn State. To conclude the regular season, Penn State will head to Rutgers on April 20.

Should they reach the postseason, Penn State will play in the Big Ten Tournament at Ohio State. The opening round of the tournament will take place on April 27 while the semifinals and final will take place between May 2-4. The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin May 12.
