[Photo Story] Holiday Lights Illuminate Downtown State College

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

It’s officially the holiday season in Happy Valley. To celebrate, many businesses and spots downtown have adorned themselves with twinkling holiday lights. Our photographers took a walk through the chilly winter night to capture some of the magic. Let’s take a look at some of the photos.

The shops on Fraser Street set up a special holiday display with lights synced to dance and twinkle to the beat of holiday music.

Even Santa Claus was in attendance to take some photos!

The halls of Fraser Street were certainly decked.

Over on College Avenue, many bars and restaurants were decked out for the holidays, like Chumley’s and the Corner Room.

The Allen Street Christmas tree is the centerpiece of State College’s holiday decor.

State College is certainly festive this time of year.
