[Photo Story] Penn State Peach Bowl Pep Rally

It’s almost time, folks.

To get fans excited about Penn State’s appearance in the Peach Bowl, the Penn State Alumni Association hosted a pep rally at the Georgia World Congress Center Friday.

As always, our photographers were on the scene to capture all the excitement. Let’s look back at some pictures.

The event opened with an energetic performance by the Penn State Blue Band, cheerleaders, Lionettes, and Blue Sapphire.

Some notable Penn State figures were in attendance, like Penn State Alumni Association CEO Paul Clifford and Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi and her grandson.

The Nittany Lion was there to hype up the crowd, donning some Peach Bowl buttons on his trademark scarf.

Some Penn State football legends were in attendance, too, like Deon Butler, Jack Ham, and Steve Jones.

The final speakers of the rally were Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Pat Kraft and head coach James Franklin.

As always, the event concluded with the singing of Penn State’s Alma Mater.
