Penn State men’s soccer head coach Jeff Cook has picked up his first transfer signing of 2024.

Wake Forest midfielder Chase Oliver committed to the Nittany Lions for his final season of eligibility, the team announced Wednesday.

Oliver appeared in 14 games for Wake Forest in 2023, recording 226 minutes of action. While he only recorded one assist last season, he totaled four goals and four assists in 21 games his sophomore year.

Throughout his career with the Demon Deacons, the Georgia native played in 64 games with six goals and six assists in 1,752 minutes.

The former Atlanta United youth player and No. 104 ranked recruit will arrive in Happy Valley for a fresh start. He’ll join the Nittany Lions fresh off a 10-4-5 season and a Big Ten Tournament Championship appearance.
