Café Laura Reopens For Spring Semester With Updated Offerings

Café Laura, a popular Penn State eatery, will reopen for the spring semester with updated offerings for the community from January 8 through April 26. The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Mateer Building.

Operated by students in Penn State’s Hospitality Management program, Café Laura provides a unique and memorable dining option while also offering students an opportunity to gain real-life experience in the service industry.

With a wide range of menu options, the restaurant is open to the community and is well-known for its semesterly theme dinners. Theme dinners will return Wednesdays and Thursdays from February 21 through April 18, and themes will be announced later this month.

Kings Espresso Bar and Grab & Go Items are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Additionally, Café Laura will also launch a few updates including self-service soup and pizza stations, wraps available at the salad station, and new menu items such as a crispy or grilled chicken sandwich.

The café will be closed on January 15 in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and March 4 to 8 for Spring Break.
