Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Drops 11 Spots In USILA Coaches Poll
Penn State men’s lacrosse is ranked No. 15 in the most recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll, the league announced.
The Nittany Lions, who received 110 votes, were ranked No. 4 in the preseason poll but fell 11 places after a 13-12 loss to then-unranked Colgate on Saturday. The Raiders entered the rankings at No. 20 in the most recent poll.
Penn State is ranked the fourth-highest among Big Ten teams behind No. 4 Maryland, No. 8 Michigan, and No. 13 Rutgers. Ohio State was the only other team in the conference to receive votes with 40, second of all unranked teams.
Penn State will return to Panzer Stadium to face Villanova, which received three votes, at noon on Saturday, February 10.
