Coolest Student Organization Shirts At THON 2024

With over 400 student organizations under the BJC roof cheering, singing, and even crying together, it’s abundantly clear that THON brings students together.

With their flashing signs, coordinated accessories, and colorful shirts, these organizations are a team. The shirts themselves help with distinguishing each organization from one another while also adding a little bit of personality.

This year, these eye-catching tops did not disappoint, so let’s check out our favorite fits of THON 2024.

Penn State Ski Club

These snowy students start the list off strong with an illustrative mountain and interesting font. If you look closely at the fronts of their shirts, you’ll see a mini skier riding down the slopes.

Penn State Lyrical Line (PLL)

The talented dance company sports some pink vintage-inspired numbers. The heart-shaped earth matches the THON vibe. Accompanying the visual is the phrase “It’s a PLL Planet” and some positive reminders to be mindful of the planet and be kind to yourself.

Phi Gamma Nu (PGN)

One of Penn State’s business fraternities, Phi Gamma Nu, is suiting up with an ode to the ironing web-slinging hero Spider-Man. The back is especially detailed, featuring retro comic book motifs as well as the phrase “Swinging with hope, fighting for a cure!”

Newman Catholic Student Association

The eye is immediately drawn to these vibrant tie-dyed shirts. A tropical sunset emerges from the blue dye. Below the surface, among the sea life, are the four diamonds that represent the qualities found in every Four Diamonds family — courage, wisdom, honesty, and strength.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

Playful and fun, the business fraternity’s shirt features a Nintendo Switch. To accompany the video game theme, there are Mario and pixel art fonts. The back is especially detailed, with a Super Mario coin, star, and mushroom among the letters of their paired THON family’s children’s names.

Ohana

Ohana’s bright, summery color palette works perfectly with their laid-back vibe. They give a fun spin on this year’s THON theme, “Treasure Every Adventure,” choosing to interpret the saying as setting sail on the open seas.

Penn State Club Field Hockey x Penn State Club Baseball

The sporty duo has a very clean-cut look this year. The crossed field hockey stick and baseball bat are a clever way to connect the groups together. Using the equipment to underline their THON child was especially smart.

Men’s Club Hockey

Inspired by the iconic heroes in a half-shell, men’s Club Hockey shirts feature the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Featuring Mikey’s famous nunchucks, the shirts are as playful and clever as the youngest turtle.

Club Powerlifting

With the bold font and prominent barbell, these shirts perfectly symbolize Club Powerlifting’s strength.

Eclipse

Super illustrative and creative, this special interest organization’s shirt features a bright green iguana. The dark tan of the shirt adds to the scene, appearing like sand. The use of their THON child’s name on the front of the shirts over their hearts was a unique twist.

Club Lacrosse

Club Lacrosse’s shirt takes us to a galaxy far far away with their Star Wars Theme. The clashing lightsabers and Star Wars font are bold and eye-catching.

Atlas

In their signature pink and green color scheme, Atlas’s shirts are fun and vibrant, featuring many little details. A thoughtful addition is the organization’s famous pink hats on each figure in the shirt.
