‘Sing Along If You Know It’: Adam & The Armadillos Ignite Country Hour At THON 2024
Country Hour kicked off with THON-favorite Adam and the Armadillos. Lead singer Adam Yarger and Co. rocked the Bryce Jordan Center and inspired everyone in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The band led the performance with an electric performance of “Chattahoochee” by Alan Jackson, reviving the entire crowd. The trio transitioned to Brooks and Dunn and boots began to scoot throughout the entire Bryce Jordan Center.
After the band finished their opening act, it announced it’d be playing Luke Combs and was met with an eruption from the crowd.
Yarger led the crowd in a “We Are” chant before moving on to a fan-favorite, Morgan Wallen, and played “Everything I Love.”
The band continued to cover all areas of country music and even dedicated a song to Toby Keith in the form of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” and stole the hearts of everyone in the Bryce Jordan Center.
Song after song, Yarger kept the energy strong and reminded everyone it was indeed a great day to be alive after playing the hit by Travis Tritt.
The band wrapped up its set by playing last year’s closing song, “Chicken Fried,” by The Zac Brown Band, along with Zach Bryan’s “Revival.” A familiar chant rang out for “one more song,” which the band gladly delivered with a powerful rendition of “‘Til You Can’t,” by Cody Johnson.
Adam and the Armadillos powered the Bryce Jordan Center through its very own “all-night revival” and gifted the crowd a much-needed hour of sing-along country hits.
