Penn State Men’s Lacrosse’s Alex Ross Named Big Ten Defensive Player Of The Week
Following Penn State men’s lacrosse’s victory over Navy on Saturday, sophomore defenseman Alex Ross was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.
After his two caused turnovers and three ground balls, Ross’ performance against the Midshipmen led him to receive his first Big Ten weekly honor on Tuesday.
This season, Ross has tallied a total of eight ground balls and five caused turnovers as a part of the Nittany Lions’ defense.
Penn State will return home at noon on Saturday, March 2, to host No. 9 Yale, its first Ivy League opponent of the season.
