Penn State Women’s Hockey To Open NCAA Tournament Against St. Lawrence
It’s dancing time.
After Penn State women’s hockey clinched its second straight CHA Championship, its season will continue into the NCAA Tournament.
The Nittany Lions will face St. Lawrence at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at Labahn Arena in Madison, Wisconsin.
Penn State is 1-7 against St. Lawrence dating back to 2012. The teams’ most recent matchup was in October 2022, and the Nittany Lions won 4-2 on the road.
The Saints went 27-10-0 in regular-season play and fell to Clarkson in the ECAC Tournament semifinals to close their season.
The winner of Penn State-St. Lawrence will face No. 2 Wisconsin.
Penn State fell in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament to Quinnipiac in a triple-overtime loss.
