Report: Former Penn State Defensive Tackle Daquan Jones Re-Signs With The Buffalo Bills

Former Penn State defensive tackle Daquan Jones has reportedly resigned with the Buffalo Bills on a two-year, $16 million contract, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Jones reportedly agreed to a contract worth up to $18 million with $10.5 million guaranteed.

Jones played for Penn State from 2011-13. During that time, he recorded 86 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a pass defense, and a fumble recovery.

After that, he entered the 2014 NFL Draft and was selected in the fourth round by the Tennessee Titans. He played for seven seasons with the Titans and earned the starting position following his rookie season, holding it before joining the Carolina Panthers in 2021.

Jones played for the Carolina Panthers for only one season before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2022 on a one-year deal. Despite only playing seven games during the 2023 season, he recorded 16 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.
