Ross Student Farm To Host ‘Garden Grow-How’ Event March 25

The Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm welcomes aspiring gardeners of all experience levels to learn new ways to garden at its “Garden Grow-How” event, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in the HUB’s Heritage Hall.

The Ross Student Farm is collaborating with the Penn State Community Garden, the Arboretum, the Student Farm Club, and Zoils and Pigments for the special event.

Activities for all ages will be available, including gardening ideas for those who live in dorms or apartments, seed swapping, botanical crafts, and a composting demonstration with live worms.

All attendees will be gifted with free succulents to take home and student-made clay pots that will be up for grabs as door prizes. Chelsea Green Publishing, Floret Farms, and the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm have also donated gardening books, tools, and seedlings as prizes.
