Report: Penn State Football Wide Receiver Malik McClain Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State football wide receiver Malik McClain has entered the transfer portal, according to Rivals. The Daphne, Alabama, native transferred from Florida State before the 2023 season.

McClain started his career with Florida State in 2021 and managed 33 receptions for 396 yards and five touchdowns during his two seasons with the Seminoles. After transferring to Penn State, the receiver only made six catches for 71 yards and a touchdown during his lone campaign with the Nittany Lions.

McClain was one of several Nittany Lions rumored to be entering the portal Thursday, including King Mack, London Montgomery, Golden Israel-Achumba, and David Kency Jr.
