Former Penn State Football Running Back London Montgomery Transfers To East Carolina

Former Penn State football running back London Montgomery has committed to transfer to East Carolina, he announced Saturday. Montgomery will join the Pirates with four years of eligibility remaining.

Montgomery arrived at Penn State as a four-star running back, according to the 247Sports Composite ratings. Joining the Nittany Lions with fellow running back Cam Wallace, Montgomery was the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania.

Montgomery never saw the field during his brief stint at Penn State. He reportedly entered the transfer portal on May 2.

Montgomery became one of several former Penn State football players to find new programs after entering the portal in early May, joining Alabama’s King Mack, Arizona State’s Malik McClain, and Coastal Carolina’s Malick Meiga.
