Penn State Suspends Theta Delta Chi Chapter Through Spring 2025

Penn State has placed the Sigma Triton chapter of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity on organizational suspension through at least spring 2025, the university announced. An additional period of organizational conduct probation will extend through spring 2027.

The university’s Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response found the fraternity hosted an unauthorized event in March. At the time, the fraternity had been banned from hosting social events.

Due to the suspension, which became effective on May 17, the chapter loses the privileges of a recognized student organization and cannot participate in university events, activities, or functions.
