Penn State Women’s Volleyball Announces 2024 Promotions Schedule

Every day that passes is another day closer to Penn State sports, folks.

Penn State women’s volleyball released its promotions schedule for the 2024 season on Tuesday. The seven-game calendar features a Wear White Match, a THON game, and more.

The Nittany Lions will kick off their promotional schedule against Michigan State on Sunday, September 29, with Alzheimer’s Awareness night. The Michigan State match will also serve as Penn State’s first in-conference home matchup.

Following the Michigan State match, the Nittany Lions will host two annual events — the Wear White Match and the Dig Pink match. The Wear White Match will welcome Big Ten newcomer Oregon to the conference on Friday, October 4. The Dig Pink match, which will also serve as Alumni Night, will come on Sunday, October 20, against Minnesota.

Penn State will round out October with a Halloween promotion and Youth Day against Michigan on Wednesday, October 30.

Penn State’s promotional calendar will wrap up in November. THON night will come against Illinois on Friday, November 15, Professor Night will come against Purdue on Thursday, November 21, and Senior Night will come against Washington on Sunday, November 24.

Penn State will kick off its season on Friday, August 30, against Tennessee. The Nittany Lions will baptize their Rec Hall home stand a few days later on Friday, September 3, against Louisville.
