Vivek Ramaswamy To Headline Turning Point USA ‘You’re Being Brainwashed Tour’ At Penn State October 17

Update, Wednesday, October 16:

Turning Point USA and Vivek Ramaswamy’s appearance at Penn State has been moved to 121 Sparks Building, Turning Point USA confirmed to Onward State.

Doors for the event will open at 5 p.m. and the event will start at 5:30 p.m.

Original Story:

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will headline a Turning Point USA event on Thursday, October 17, at Penn State. The event will come just under a month after Turning Point USA’s visit to Penn State with right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk.

The October event will take place at 7 p.m. outside the Thomas Building, according to the Turning Point USA website. Turning Point USA’s last rally came to Penn State on Thursday, September 19, on HUB Lawn.

Ramaswamy ran for president in the 2024 election but dropped out of the Republican primary as votes began falling for Donald Trump. Since then, Ramaswamy has made a name for himself in conservative circles as a pundit.

According to the Turning Point USA website, the “You’re Being Brainwashed Tour” is “designed to empower and educate college students with the principles and tools they need to challenge left-wing indoctrination on college campuses.”

“The tour will feature TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk alongside special guests,” the release read. “Together, they will address thousands of students, sharing their perspectives on free speech, the role of government, and the importance of preserving conservative values in higher education.”

Other university stops include Montana, Ohio State, Pitt, Kansas State, Wisconsin, Colorado, and North Texas.
