Penn State Women’s Volleyball Remains No. 3 In AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball was ranked No. 3 in the most recent AVCA poll, the organization announced Monday afternoon. It was the Nittany Lions’ third straight week in the No. 3 spot.

The blue and white received one first-place vote, while Pitt received 41 and Nebraska received 19.

The Nittany Lions went 2-0 on the road this past weekend with a sweep over Michigan State and 3-1 win over Indiana, improving their record to 16-1.

The Big Ten was also represented in the top 25 by the No. 2 Cornhuskers, No. 9 Wisconsin, No. 10 Purdue, No. 11 Oregon, No. 14 Minnesota, and No. 16 USC.

Penn State will return to action at Ohio State at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 18. The match will be televised on Big Ten Network.
