Donald Trump No Longer Attending Penn State-Ohio State

Donald Trump is no longer set to attend Penn State football’s Saturday matchup against Ohio State, a university spokesperson told Onward State.

Reports of Trump’s attendance first came out on Thursday, before Penn State confirmed that a private citizen invited the former president to watch the game with them.

According to Trump’s campaign schedule, he’ll be traveling to Salem, Virginia, for a rally at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Trump appeared at Penn State on Saturday, speaking at the Bryce Jordan Center. His appearance was the culmination of weeks of campaigning from both Republicans and Democrats in State College.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy appeared at the Sparks Building on Thursday, October 17, and Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared at the State Theatre on Friday, October 18. A “Team Trump Bus Tour” visited State College on Tuesday, October 22. Democratic governors campaigned for Kamala Harris on Monday, October 21.

Republican U.S. Senate candidate David McCormick will also be in Happy Valley and is set to host a tailgate at the Ohio State game.
