Report: Drew Allar Expected To Play Against Ohio State

Penn State football quarterback Drew Allar is expected to play against Ohio State on Saturday, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Allar didn’t play in the second half of the Nittany Lions’ 28-13 win over the Badgers last week.

James Franklin said at his Monday press conference that the decision on the starter would go until game time. Allar participated in practice during the media’s 15-minute viewing window on Wednesday, but Franklin had no new information on the quarterback’s status after practice.

Along with Allar, offensive lineman Anthony Donkoh and defensive edge Dani Dennis-Sutton are questionable ahead of Saturday’s tilt. Donkoh was seen at practice on Wednesday, while Dennis-Sutton was not.
