Centre Film Festival To Begin November 11

The 2024 Centre Film Festival will run from November 11 to 17 for the sixth annual festival. The event showcases local and international films and includes both in-person and hybrid viewing options for talks with filmmakers, screenings, and more.

In-person viewings will be offered at the State Theatre downtown and the Rowland Theatre in Philipsburg.

The seven-day celebration features films and shorts from professional filmmakers, Penn State students, and high school students ranging from fiction, non-fiction, and documentaries.

Films have been selected to honor Native American Heritage Month in November. They were chosen to raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by Indigenous people and the ways they worked to conquer them.

An all-access festival pass is available for free when students show their ID. For non-students, the all-access pass is $60, an individual film pass is $12, and a virtual film pass is $10. There will also be a free shuttle service available to everyone.

For more information or to purchase passes, head to the festival’s website.
