Hakeem Beamon No Longer With Penn State Football

Former Penn State football defensive tackle Hakeem Beamon is no longer with the team, a Penn State Athletics spokesperson confirmed to Onward State. Beamon for the time being, is still listed on the team’s roster.

Beamon was in his sixth season with the Nittany Lions, and played 45 career games, starting in 18. He finished his time at Penn State with 40 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. During the 2024 season, Beamon made eight appearances, never starting, and recorded three tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.

Beamon wasn’t the only player to leave the Nittany Lions this season. Jameial Lyons and Kaveion Keys left the team over the summer, and the pair is now facing rape charges.
