Gameday Coverage: No. 4 Penn State vs. Minnesota

One last regular-season road trip, folks.

The Nittany Lions will play their final away matchup of the year on Saturday as they head to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

After last week’s 49-10 beatdown of Purdue, the Nittany Lions will try to continue the momentum into another midwest matchup.

Here’s everything you need to know about Saturday’s contest.

Television

The Nittany Lions’ tilt will be broadcast on CBS for the second week in a row and will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Brad Nessler will handle the play-by-play while Gary Danielson will serve as the color analyst. Jenny Dell will be the sideline reporter.

Weather

Minneapolis will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with a high of 37°, according to AccuWeather. There is a 5% chance of precipitation on gameday.

Injuries

The Nittany Lions had no new additions to the availability report last week as multiple players continue to recover from long-term injuries.

Kaden Saunders continues to practice while Zion Tracy has handled the punt return duties for the last few weeks as Saunders deals with an injury.

Last Meeting

Penn State leads the series with Minnesota 10-6. The Nittany Lions last met the Golden Gophers in the 2022 White Out, which Penn State won 45-17.

The Nittany Lions opened as 11-point favorites over the Golden Gophers, with the current over/under set at 45 points.
