Penn State Alum Adam Breneman Earns Spot On Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′

Former Penn State football tight end Adam Breneman landed on Forbes’ 2025 “30 Under 30” list, which recognizes notable young professionals each year, in the media division. Breneman serves as the chief media officer for the College Sports Company, which he co-founded with Porter Grieve.

After graduating from the Smeal College of Business in 2015, the three-time All-American tight end went on to play for UMass before becoming the tight end coach for Arizona State shortly after.

In 2022, Breneman co-founded his Philly-based company at 27, leading to his spot on the list. The company is an athlete-driven content platform that allows universities and collegiate athletes to use their name, image, and likeness to produce unique content, interact with fans, and develop personal brands.

One recent initiative through Breneman’s leadership was launching “State Media,” an athlete-driven media network that was developed in collaboration with Penn State University. The project has generated nearly 1,000 videos to date. A similar effort was made with Louisville, where he founded “1801 Media”, which brought in over $550,000 in its first month of operation.
