Penn State Football To Wear White In Big Ten Championship
On Saturdays, we wear white.
Penn State football will don its white jerseys for the Big Ten Championship against Oregon on Saturday, December 7. The Ducks will wear a jet-black uniform for their first-ever Big Ten title game.
Penn State wore blue in its last Big Ten Championship appearance as it came back against Wisconsin 38-31 to reach the Rose Bowl.
The Nittany Lions claimed two other conference championships in 2005 and 2008, but there weren’t Big Ten Championship games back then, so this will be the first time the team wears white in Indianapolis. However, Penn State wore blue when it claimed a Big Ten Championship in 2008 as the program’s most recent 11-1 team, and it wore white when it claimed the title against Michigan State in 2005.
The last time Penn State wore white in the postseason was in its Rose Bowl win over Utah in 2022. The Nittany Lions wore blue in their loss to Ole Miss in last year’s Peach Bowl.
