Offensive Coordinator Andy Kotelnicki To Remain With Penn State Football

Andy Kotelnicki will be with Penn State football for the 2025 season. The coordinator seemingly announced his intentions to remain with the program with a Twitter post Monday evening.

“Beyond lucky to be a part of the Penn State Football Family,” Kotelnicki said in the post. “Still a lot to accomplish this season and I am looking forward to what 2025 has in store for our program!”

Kotelnicki was rumored to be involved with the West Virginia head coaching job after the Mountaineers fired former coach Neal Brown earlier this month.

Penn State hired Kotelnicki last offseason after former offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich was fired mid-season last year. Before Penn State, Kotelnicki was the offensive coordinator at Kansas since 2020 and was with Buffalo since 2015.

Although Penn State lost to No. 1 Oregon 45-37 in the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, Kotelnicki’s offense had 523 total yards.
