Big Ten Releases Penn State Football 2025 Conference Schedule

Penn State’s 2025 in-conference schedule was released by the Big Ten on Wednesday. The Nittany Lions will play four games at home and five games on the road, starting with Oregon and ending with Rutgers.

Penn State will begin its Big Ten slate with a Saturday, September 27, matchup at home against Oregon. That game was announced shortly before the Big Ten Championship on Saturday and will come after the Nittany Lions’ first bye of the season.

The Nittany Lions will bounce between home and road venues for the next three weeks, facing UCLA in Los Angeles on October 4, Northwestern at home on October 11, and Iowa on the road on October 18.

After a week off, the Nittany Lions will face Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, on November 1. Another College Football Playoff contender from the 2024 season, Indiana, will travel to Happy Valley on November 8.

Penn State will continue to bounce back and forth between home and road games, facing Michigan State on November 15 for the return of the Land-Grant Trophy game. Nebraska will come to Beaver Stadium on November 22, and Penn State will go to New Jersey to face Rutgers on November 29 to close out the season.

Kickoff times and networks will be announced over summer 2025 and during the season.

The Nittany Lions already have dates set for three out-of-conference games. They’ll face Nevada on August 30 to open the season at home, followed by two more home games against FIU on September 6 and Villanova on September 13.
