Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule
Penn State women’s lacrosse is almost back.
The team announced its 2025 schedule Thursday, which features eight games at Panzer Stadium and 15 in total.
The Nittany Lions will begin the season at home on February 8 with a non-conference matchup against Richmond.
Head coach Missy Doherty’s team will also take on non-conference opponents Bucknell on February 12, St. Joseph’s on February 15, Pitt on February 18, Drexel on February 26, Cornell on March 1, and Princeton on March 1.
Conference play will open up later in the season against Maryland on March 13, and includes bouts against Northwestern on March 16, Oregon on March 23, Michigan on March 30, Rutgers on April 3, Ohio State on April 6, USC on April 13, and Johns Hopkins on April 17.
The Big Ten Tournament is set to kick off on April 23. Penn State is fresh off of an 11-8 2024 record, highlighted by a loss in the Big Ten Championship against Northwestern and a close loss to James Madison to open the NCAA Tournament.
